Layoffs, No Annual Raises, No Backfilling, Budgets Cut, More Layoffs - Corporate Function Manager AmeriGas Employee Review

Wave after wave of layoffs. Massive cuts recently in nearly every corporate department, including accounting, finance, legal, HR, IT, and tax, affecting people who were hired very recently after they left other positions elsewhere and people who had been here for a long time. Last time, people were pulled out of their cubes during the workday and walked out. No Backfilling when people leave. Workloads getting exponentially larger. No annual raises last year, and bonuses came 6 months late and only 50% of target. No promotions. Budgets smaller every year. It's not looking like things are going to get better anytime soon, and pretty much everyone I know who's still here is looking for a new job. Proceed with caution.
