Pros
-Great mission which is easy to get behind. I feel proud to work here. -Wonderful staff and volunteers. -Good time off package, health benefits -The dollars really do go to mission. -Work life balance is pretty good- some people can work from home sometimes
Cons
-Unstable. Every person on my team has resigned in the past year due to extreme stress. Others are being fired left and right. Constantly restructuring and laying people off, and then expecting the paltry remaining staff to pick up the slack and do even more. -Constantly asking us to donate our meager checks back to the organization -Departments often do no communicate and seem at odds. -TONS of managers and leaders, and no one on the ground. -Extremely high stress, yet no leaders care- seems like they are just trying not to get fired themselves! -CEO pays lip service to caring about employees, yet is completely gutting the organization, firing huge numbers of staff, and asking the survivors who remain to produce more and more -Havent met with my team in person in several years. -The way people are let go is extremely heartless.
