Pros

Working from home And benefits

Cons

You have to work in a specific location from a desktop. Management is chaos. I’ve had 3 different managers in the past 6 months. Literally once a week they make a new policy that makes our job harder and our bonuses less attainable. Bonuses are largely based on things that are completely out of our control and we are penalized for doing anything to attempt to bring it under our control. Training is nothing like what the job is. There is very little timely support. Many managers have less training than the people they manage. The pay was decent before inflation but now it’s not nearly worth the trouble. That coupled with emails about 60 billion in profit is a slap in the face. The amount of PTO seems great until you realize you work weekends and holidays so will likely need to use time for literally anything. I’m over it

Pros

They have fantastic pay for the position you're in, and they teach you interesting and engaging utility of modern technology mixed with legacy fundamentals. I've learned quite a bit while AmEx while getting paid more than fairly - I'd recommend a stretch here to whomever may be reading this!

Cons

The Company is huge, and at times it may take more than a little time to get recognized for your abilities and the growth you've had. There's a reason there is a "only way up is out" reputation exists for some enterprise companies...
