Pros
The pros of the position is that the company does offer benefits that are good from day one. In this position you can make a decent income to provide for your family. It's nice to work for a company everyone interacts and helps good work environment.
Cons
The metrics they have at American Express are unrealistic and being the company they are and how much they care about there card member you would think the metrics wouldn't matter as much but they do and you will lose your position behind these metrics. The call flow is Extremely High Intense and the breaks are 15min 30min lunch 15min with a calls being 10 seconds apart all day. There is no holidays with American Express what so ever you will work on every Holiday which I did like having a family. Its hard to move up I interviewed 3 times for management roles I beyond qualify for and never any luck.
