Pros
-Majority of leaders are understanding and protective of their team. -Flexible work schedule (especially when you have a great leader) -Snacks and Food credit incentive to go back to office -Top notch family leave policy. -Lots of "TED talks" from leaders and individuals from industry that you can search for and attend.
Cons
-Hard to make progress / reach consensus due to the fact that the Bureaucracy at the company is very feudalistic (ie: everyone is looking out for themselves/their team rather than the whole enterprise). -Lack of product understanding / acumen across enterprise (ie: many requests are top-down and done "just because") -Hard to manage career growth (need to get on alot of people's good graces / navigate politics) and career path isn't always well defined. -Likewise, some promotions don't always make sense (ie: loudest or most sociable (not most hardworking) gets the attention) -Compelled to go to office even though most of the team isn't onsite.
