Pros
Average pay, average benefits, good location
Cons
After putting in so much effort and receiving so little in return, the best decision I made was to leave. Management only cares about their bonuses, which are affected by every extra minute of overtime and additional spending. It became routine to have to ask for supplies to be ordered multiple times before anything was done. Expect 15-minute time slots with no lunch breaks. You’ll be expected to bring in the next patient while your current patient is still being scanned—if you don’t, you’ll fall even further behind. MRI has essentially been treated like walk-in X-ray, with multiple 15-minute slots added to your schedule every day. And despite multiple complaints, management doesn’t care. The work environment became toxic, and I had to leave for my own sanity. I should have made this decision much sooner. There are too many job opportunities available right now to endure this kind of mistreatment and disrespect daily. So, be warned—take this job at your own risk.
