Pros

Remote Work Days (Monday and Friday) Depending on your department, you may have colleagues who share in your pain and keep. you sane.

Cons

No training as a lot of assumptions that just because you know how to do you role that you know how to do. your role at this organization. Lack of delegation of tasks which means many tasks are limited to one person having access or knowledge on tasks which causes a problem when people are out sick, on vacation, have work buildup, or people leave the company. No clear leader- due to how the company is structured with some Chiefs reporting directly to our CEO, and some chiefs reporting directly to other chiefs and having (5) sister organizations it is not clear who is has ultimate say when making decisions.

Cons

Too many chiefs with lack of leadership skills and direction. In the four years I've been here , I have seen layoffs and terminations happen quarterly out of the blue. You constantly feel on edge like you job will be eliminated next. There is no job training or support. If you are lucky, you will get a manager who is supportive and not just playing politics.
