Pros
From my years at American Structurepoint we were never slow. There was rarely a time when we were worried about not having enough work to keep the staff busy. The projects we did win were big, complex, interesting, diverse, and great to put on the career resume. The expectations are high and younger staff is given as much responsibility as they can handle. This place is fertile ground to launch your career if you are willing to make sacrifices and work long hours.
Cons
In an effort to never be light on work, it seems there are never enough staff to go around. To win the big projects, promises are made at upper management levels that put unrealistic expectations on production staff. It is difficult to maintain a sustainable work-life balance and impossible if you dont have the right manager.
