Pros

An exciting fast paced environment on the cutting edge of a new technology. If you enjoy working on products and ideas that are revolutionary and one of a kind it is a place where you can be happy as long as you stay out of the "politics". Silence is golden enjoy your job.

Cons

Not enough advancement from within. Company tends to go to the outside to fill positions rather than promote from within. If you vocalize disatisfaction with the status quo you are then viewed as a complainer and your chances for advancement dwindle even more. Way too much emphasis placed on political correctness. Showing your feelings is discouraged and frowned upon. Can sometimes be "Stepford" in to get along go along or else!

Pros

over the past five years, AMSC had quickly become family. I am able to be a mom of a toddler, while still juggling a demanding global position. AMSC values work life balance and understands everyone has a life outside of here. When I first interviewed here, I could not believe the tenure. So much of senior leadership has spent 10+ years here, and I have had the pleasure of wishing people luck on retirement, and then seeing them again shortly after wanting to work part time for us. I truly enjoy coming to work every day, not only because the work is never stagnant, but the people I work alongside are truly some of the most caring people.

Cons

AMSC will challenge you to wear multiple hats, Some may think it's a con, but I personally enjoy it. It allows you to consistently grow as the company grows.
