ESOP is a strong retention tool . Employees in General are hardworking and Management does seem to have genuine respect for its employees
Cons
Has a tough time competing in growth areas such as Intelligence , System Engineering and Cyber . The company wants to act like a prime contractor but will not invest in the resources it takes to be a Prime . . The company is still looked at as cable pulling and install company not a go to government services company and they seem okay with that . No sense of urgency to grow and keeps trying to reinvent itself every two years. Inadequate Finance and HRIS systems that need a major overhaul . Back Office support , especially HR support functions are in adequate at best. Communication to other offices outside Chantilly is poor. Cut some overhead ,especially IT and security. They have way to much staff for a company with less than 1300 employees
