Pros
My experience over the last 3 years working in the Orlando, FL office has been very rewarding. The local management is constantly working to create an effective culture of teamwork, while balancing business development needs to ensure all employees can have longevity with the company. One of the most beneficial aspects of working for American Systems is the ability to develop an effective work-life balance. The leadership emulates this and is flexible and responsive to employee requests. The work is challenging, but I also feel well-supported if I need help.
Cons
No organization is perfect, and programs occasionally have growing pains and experience transitions. The culture of both the local office and the corporate office, however, is one that listens to concerns and ideas for improvement and acts on them to the furthest extent feasible.
