Pros
Salary and benefits are fair. They are competitive not exceeding the market. Empowerment - you really do have the flexibility and support to make decisions without a bunch of red tape. Just watch out if you make a wrong decision. The people at ATS are great!
Cons
Top management - great as long as you're doing well and billable. Any little snags along the way will be held against you indefinitely. There is no true forgiveness, grudges are held and it will reflect in your opportunities and reviews. Leadership communication from the top executives to managers is not clear or consistent. There seems to be no specific mission or path to follow. Sometimes it's about making money and other times it's just do whatever to keep the customers happy. Work / Life balance is tough. There is flexibility to work remotely and take time when needed, but you're still working very long hours. It's very hard to maintain this level long term. The company grows at a very slow pace so not much room for advancement. Vacation and Sick hours do not seem competitive to others IT companies in the area.
