Pros

Work/life balance is usually good

Cons

Everything else. Nobody will be getting a bonus across the entire company for the second year in a row now. This company has filed bankruptcy multiple times and the most recent was 6 months ago. They've lost multiple vendors. Layoffs galore. When someone is laid off or quits, IF they decide to backfill that role, it will take months so you are expected to take on the extra work. They stopped matching everyone's 401k for awhile, but that recently came back (for now). To top if off as if working here isn't already a nightmare, they just announced everyone must return to office in October. Most everyone is jumping ship from the company and those that are still employed are actively looking for a new job.

Pros

Its remote setup and competitive pay for the tasks involved. While there is a learning curve, the job becomes straightforward once you memorize the systems. The experience is further improved by great managers who provide a supportive environment for their teams.

Cons

The environment is high-pressure due to strict QA standards and a low tolerance for errors. There are numerous complex guidelines that must be followed precisely, which can feel restrictive for those who prefer less micromanagement or more creative freedom in their workflow.

Pros

I liked a lot of the other people that I worked with on my team. I loved my managers before they made leadership changes - two of the best managers I've had in my career, especially the VP that we reported to. Would have loved to have stayed if they were still there.

Cons

Management changes were terrible. It was one of the worst experiences I've had in that respect. I was also lied to about a promotion and strung along, doing two jobs and being told that I was going to be paid more. The excuse was that it was just stuck in HR. When I left, I did an interview with HR, and they told me there was no plan for a pay increase.
