Pros
Prior to Covid, while working in the office they had free soda in the breakrooms. There is a room to move around/up in the company. Competitive pay.
Cons
This place is great if you want to be micromanaged and literally have to message your boss to tell them you are going to the bathroom. This got really bad mainly after the company went remote due to Covid. The company moral plummeted after Kathy took over the call center. They have unrealistic expectations and claim they are making the changes to benefit the customers.... yet the customers feel they are now treated as strangers because of the "scripts" reps have to use. They are more worried about moving the goal post to keep their employees from reaching their monthly bonuses than they are listening to what the customer actually wants. It's really sad to see the company change so quickly for the worse. The upper management has no respect of the technical skills/knowledge their reps have and do not comprehend that you cant just keep hiring temps and expect the same results. They are so disconnected, they are clueless. All that matters in the company is hitting a button and running that report. You, your voice, or dedication to this company does not matter. I want to note, I am not a disgruntled employee. I knew my worth and when I was contacted about another opportunity I immediately took it, even though I was just about to start a new position within ATD. I've waited almost an entire year to write this review because I wanted to make sure I didn't involve any emotion. I can't tell you how many of my former coworkers (10+ years of being at ATD) have reached out to me asking if there was an open position at my new company because they are that miserable there. My current employer joke with me when I first started and said that I had "Prisoner Syndrome" from working at ATD.
