Pros
Lots of resources with real opportunities to move up and have a career.
Cons
Leadership within a Distribution Center is filled with short-sighted, defensive, and power-mad management whose lackluster people skills somehow atrophy further the longer they are in management. The upper echelons of leadership in a DC and customer-facing roles at all levels (ie. CSR, Account Manager, etc.) appear to have no real concern for their customers. I would argue only 1/3 of the people I interacted with in customer-facing roles cared and that 1/3 of people were easily doing 75% or more of the work. Managers, especially the good ones, often have their hands tied by a system that does not allow them to make decisions that truly help employees when they need it the most or when life happens outside of work.
