Miss the residents, not the staff. - Anonymous employee Americare Senior Living Employee Review

Pros

The residents. That's it. If you get a good coworker, that too. But it's rare to get a good one and if you do, they usually don't last long.

Cons

Management played favorites, disrespectful and unappreciative of good, reliable employees who cover their staffing shortages by picking up extra shifts constantly. Pay is HORRIBLE and a slap in the face for the simple fact that we are caring for other human beings. Walmart pays more and you're not literally dealing with crap.

Pros

The staff here at Moran Manor is very friendly and supportive, creating a positive work environment. The department leadership team is excellent and always willing to step in and help on the floor when needed, which shows strong teamwork. The workplace is also very family-oriented, making it feel welcoming and understanding. Another very rewarding aspect is the opportunity to work closely with residents and their families—building those relationships has a meaningful impact on us as caregivers and makes the work we do feel truly important every day.

Cons

Frequent staff call-ins can sometimes create challenges with coverage and increase the workload for others.
