1 day a week in office completely arbitrarily- it served no purpose and actually made completing the huge workload harder. Nepotism and favoritism are also huge problems here. There is very little to almost no separation of financial duties. There is a mean girl culture and if you don't fit in other employees will go out of their way to get you in trouble. Complaints to HR and managment are ignored. The workload is the biggest problem- its tremendous and they expect absolute perfection. Mistakes are not tolerated and are immediately escalated to management. If you can do the work of 3 people in 8 hours, mainly typing strings of numbers with 0 errors and have a VERY thick skin I'd recommend going elsewhere where you'll be appreciated. The pay was $3 less than industry standard as well. Management is too bogged down with their own huge workload to address issues with in the department and HR is clueless and easily fooled. No career opportunities and never hires from within. Recently bought by a private capital firm because the business isn't doing great.
