Pros

Great teams of people. Very can do attitudes and very knowledgeable in their fields. Always something interesting going on. A great place to learn different things about the airline business. Over the last couple of years, have streamlined operations and are much more professional in approach.

Cons

Need more investment from top to bottom. In the fleet, in the employees in some of the facilities, in IT systems. Benefits and pay are good, but the company is under such time and earnings pressure that there is no time or money for employee development and training.

Thank you for taking the time to review us. We're glad to hear you are enjoying the attitudes and experience of our teams! We have worked very hard to streamline our operations and vamp up our professionalism. We're glad to hear you list both of those things as a pro. We are constantly working to improve all aspects of our company and are glad to see your list. While our aircraft are not brand new, our maintenance and leadership teams take proper care of each one. Safety is our #1 goal and pilots are never asked to fly planes they do not deem safe themselves. Our IT department is implementing several new programs including Office 365 that will help to deliver training electronically. It will also serve to streamline things internally and improve our efficiency. There are a number of other things we are in the process of changing: we just switched to United Health Care, we are implementing a new software called ARMS, more.

Pros

The director is a great guy and is an advocate for the specialists. It was a relatively easy job. Good job for somebody right out of college.

Cons

No company culture. Old and Cold atmosphere. Horrible communication, outdated systems. “This is how we’ve always done it” attitude. Turnover rate through the roof in IT and MX, so few things can ever be completed or done correctly. Very old aircraft leading to MX problems and cancellations. Commissions are way below average and the market is very volatile. Do not expect to make 80-100k, more like 50k after taxes. No room for growth. Insurance is bad.
