Pros

Was a globally focused local business; Good benefits, Nice People I enjoyed working there for two years. Lots of long term employees. Was owned and operated by people who really cared about the business and the people behind the business. There was a divide between pilots and maintenance and operations, but good leaders were able to keep all sides working together.

Cons

Now owned by an investment concern, Leadership out of touch with employees. The company had been owned and operated by people who really cared about the business and the people behind the business. There was a divide between pilots and maintenance and operations, but good leaders were able to keep all sides working together - now that may not be the case.

Thanks for reviewing us and thanks for your two years of service. As you have mentioned, over the last year, the company has gone through some dramatic changes. We believe that these changes make us better equipped to serve our customers. With any such changes, we expect that we will run into challenges along the way. We are working every day to ensure that we continue to make Ameriflight an employer of choice and we appreciate everyone who has had a role, whenever and wherever, in making us a great company!

Pros

The director is a great guy and is an advocate for the specialists. It was a relatively easy job. Good job for somebody right out of college.

Cons

No company culture. Old and Cold atmosphere. Horrible communication, outdated systems. “This is how we’ve always done it” attitude. Turnover rate through the roof in IT and MX, so few things can ever be completed or done correctly. Very old aircraft leading to MX problems and cancellations. Commissions are way below average and the market is very volatile. Do not expect to make 80-100k, more like 50k after taxes. No room for growth. Insurance is bad.
