Pros

Weekly fair pay. Depending on what fleet manager you get could be well taken care of and supported. I went through 3 at three different locations

Cons

Insurance subpar. Lacks loyalty. Supposed to be veteran friendly. Was let go after relocating to another state. 3 months after moving family down. Wasn't given a real answer why I was let go. Worked for Amerit over 2 years Also they do not contribute to 401 k. Was promised a lot only to be mislead.

Dear Former Employee, I am very sorry for the way we parted ways. While locations will sometimes fluctuate in the level of service needed based on client demands, your exit experience is not reflective of what we expect at Amerit Fleet. The reasons for your layoff should have been made clear - for example, that the client not needing as much support. You should have also been provided a list of all open jobs in the local area, as well as opportunities around the country; those that provide travel reimbursement and those that would require relocation. We are constantly in need of talented technicians and so I'm puzzled none of these opportunities were presented to you. Lastly, you should have been provided with all the material necessary to plan your next steps, whether applying for unemployment or a listing of relevant local jobs in the area (not at Amerit). That is the exit experience we should be giving - and it seems we didn't do that. Pros

Brand new warehouse to work in, top of the line equipment, and free snacks and water.

Cons

Too many requirements for trainings, constantly a new module to complete. When it comes to hiring/promoting they like to hire “white” and outside the company, not from within.
