Pros
Ability to fluctuate your schedule to fit your needs. Company vehicle. Schedule your workload to what fits you best. Decent pay/benefits.
Cons
Day-to-day responsibilities/ expected work completion for technicians is near impossible to complete in the time alloted. Excess work(answering emails, phone calls, researching parts/workarounds, training/HazReps) has to be done off of the clock, or you risk falling behind on your workload. Constant feeling of technicians not working efficiently/ not getting enough done by superiors. The good technicians are grouped in with the bad technicians and are made to feel as if we aren't doing things properly. Going above and beyond in your position offers no incentive, everyone is lumped together regardless of work ethic. Constantly changing procedures, each week there is something in the work flow process that changes, and you are expected to adapt instantly.
