Pros

Paid on time, met some great people, and the company now offers a 401k match.

Cons

The statement “We either need more candidate starts or less recruiters” recently appeared in our team meeting deck. It seems that management may be trying to reduce their workforce in ways that aren’t traditional layoffs. Recruiters are ranked by a tier system and 12 of 18 employees are currently “below the company goal.” Only 6 are meeting the company goal- most of them being recruiting managers. If 66% of the team isn’t meeting the company goal, maybe this isn’t a reflection of the employee’s effort, but management not setting realistic goals or they’re creating a req distribution system that’s not advantageous for everyone. Complaints are often not addressed and management fosters blame culture, citing employees simply aren’t working hard enough. Performance improvement plans are often threatened and will be used as a tool for employee removal. There’s also been a stark reduction in perks and benefits (for example, cutting back on bonus incentives that factor into the employee’s overall compensation). Beware of constructive discharge tactics at this company.

Pros

Brand new warehouse to work in, top of the line equipment, and free snacks and water.

Cons

Too many requirements for trainings, constantly a new module to complete. When it comes to hiring/promoting they like to hire “white” and outside the company, not from within.
