Pros

I have been working at Amesite for the past year and a half and my time here has been incredible. The CEO is dedicated to the team's learning and growth, and that is seen in every pre meeting, meeting, and post meeting discussion. The culture is strong, and because of that we have hired amazing people to the team – creating a fun and hardworking environment. The pace ebbs and flows, as in any tech start up company, but the support from fellow staff and management makes for smooth transitions and feelings of ease. Cannot wait for what the future holds for Amesite.

This is the most mission driven and dedicated team I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. Honesty, integrity, and a deep desire to use their skills, gifts and talents to do something good in the world underpin every product and marketing decision. I am very proud to be on this team.

Pros

1. Fully remote 2. Nice manager, and coworkers. 3. Good benefits

Cons

The CEO lacks technical knowledge but regularly inserts herself into engineering decisions, overriding people who actually understand the product. She has a high ego, does not take feedback, and surrounds herself with people who won't push back, even when she's clearly wrong. The product is bad and marketed as something it's not. Pay is low for the work expected. The culture is micromanagement dressed up as "high performance." This is a sinking ship, The financials speak for themselves.
