Business Outlook
Pros
The culture at Amgen is very friendly and welcoming, especially to interns. Most everyone greeted me in passing or around the office. Interns are treated very well with trips and events. I learned a lot about how corporate finance operates and also how Amgen as a business works. It was a great leaning experience.
Cons
Some of the financial systems used were cumbersome or inefficient. There a lot of channels/approvals to go through if you want to implement a change to a current system.
