      Pros

      Great location, close to LIRR, Metro North. Generous Holidays and 3 personal days. Great mission statement and good intentions.

      Cons

      Top heavy, lack of communication amongst departments, Lack of motivated workers. HR Dept. is non-existent, high turn over rate, inadequate resources to do your job. Promotions are not based on qualifications rather it's based on favoritism. Non-proactive approach but prefers to be reactive. mismanagement and very disorganize. Great intentions but poorly executed.

      Pros

      Amida Care has great benefits, is employee centered and member focused. WE have a generous PTO package (Holidays, Vacation, Sick and Personal Days). Amida Care is a company that lives it's mission. It's an inclusive work environment and, there are also many ways for employees to participate in committees and work groups that help shape the employee experience for everyone at Amida Care. My favorite is starting the weekend early with the Summer hours program.

      Cons

      The work we do requires a great deal of patience and empathy which at times can make employees feel that they have to give more of themselves but, the work is fulfilling!
