      Pros

      I am glad to have crossed paths with Amidacare. Took a job, thought to use my G-d given talent to help people, met lots of great people and the experience has opened doors for me. Amidacare has a pretty unique corporate culture, different from many Fortune 500 companies I had worked for before. Working there is more personal and friendlier compared to Fortune 500 companies. Just good people, trying to help others. Management is very good people, Alexandra, John, Lorain. CEO has his hart in the right place. Compensation is competitive, great benefits. (This is a none-profit, healthcare insurance industry) Opportunity to grow your career while helping others seems like a win no matter how you dice it.

      Cons

      Amidacare is going though some growth so there are some growing pains.

      Pros

      Amida Care has great benefits, is employee centered and member focused. WE have a generous PTO package (Holidays, Vacation, Sick and Personal Days). Amida Care is a company that lives it's mission. It's an inclusive work environment and, there are also many ways for employees to participate in committees and work groups that help shape the employee experience for everyone at Amida Care. My favorite is starting the weekend early with the Summer hours program.

      Cons

      The work we do requires a great deal of patience and empathy which at times can make employees feel that they have to give more of themselves but, the work is fulfilling!
