Pros
I have been with Amphenol for 3 years. I was hired based on my credentials and trained and promoted to my current position. Pros: 1) Amphenol is an equal opportunity employer. This is the first company I've worked for in manufacturing where my gender has had no bearing on my position or progression within the company. 2) Promotions and new positions are often filled internally 3) Internal and external training is provided to help staff progress their career 4) There is an active rec club that arranges prizes and bbq's, including a picnic arranged with HR 5) There is a large variety of different parts and materials being manufactured and plenty of areas to expand your knowledge
Cons
It can be a very busy and demanding environment with little down time
