Pros
Nice customers usually Some good workmates
Cons
You stand out front the store all day trying to get people to check their hearing. Many people will ignore you or make fun of you. When not doing this, you'll be on the phone calling customers and trying to convince them to come back and do another hearing check. Sometimes this is fine but the pressure to call people regularly feels unnecessary. Staff are not allowed to sit down during work because "it looks bad". So you are either standing out front of the store on tiles or behind a computer all day. Several workers and myself experienced leg or back pain/discomfort while working. Even customers think it's weird that you are not permitted to sit down. Expectations are high and most people seem unhappy working at Amplifon. Pressure from management is heavy. Processing government claims on behalf of customers is often very time consuming and unnecessarily complicated. The pay is unremarkable and does not scale to the high pressure and expectations from Management.
