I’ve never worked at such a toxic company, been so under appreciated and pressured so much, and everybody else is unhappy also: they’re just too afraid of speaking out in case they get performance managed. Amplifon is the reason why the audiology industry has such a bad name and has really gone down the drain. Micromanaging, invasion of privacy (they want you to know they’re watching you), harsh words behind closed doors, pushing you out of clinics, performance management when you’re not selling.. 95% conversion expectation, managers only in it for the $$, clients and staff come last…Don’t believe their smirk: they will treat you like crap and push you until you break. Do NOT work here. Audika or Hearing Australia much better reputation or seek to work for independents.

Pros

Proactivity is rewarded. Career development is expanding. Lots of great, compassionate people here and there is a authentic sense of community. No company is perfect but I have seen a growth in employee listening, innovation and career opportunities since I joined 2.5 years ago. Strong company mission of "empowering people to rediscover the emotions of sound"

Cons

As any retail business, sales is the dominant priority here. It takes considerable effort to keep PEOPLE at the forefront. Some managers and leaders do this better than others.
