Pros
Not much honestly. Only worth it if you're involved with audiology or if you're looking for healthcare experience (Abott has an office in that area).
Cons
- Garbage pay that is not proportionate with the work that is required. They had one person doing 3 different jobs in Marketing! Additionally, the marketing team is composed of recent Indian and Pakistani immigrants (i.e. cheap labor). - Hilariously unorganized structure in Canada. The general manager is a Mexican national who believes that opening retail locations in economically destitute provinces (i.e. Newfoundland) is a logical idea. The Canadian marketing director is a Dutch national who lives in Boston (literally no relationship to the Canadian market). The finance head doesn't have a CPA. - Weak business model. Heavily discounting products (+60%) every single month. - The "office" is a storage closet in the middle of a forest in Mississauga. The HR team was seriously considering mandating a return-to-office schedule involving a storge closet. - Italian HQ doesn't care about Canada. It is an accessory to the premium USA product. - HR could be inept and confrontational at times. Job responsibilities were not clearly communicated and my job title was even misspelled!
