Pros

- Strong Team Based Environment, Great Folks - Very Flexible Work Environment, - Unlimited PTO - Love the noble work, truly helping education field

Cons

- Wear a lot of hats without proper recognition or acknowledgement - Not very competitive pay in Support versus other departments/companies - Company tends to make kneejerk decisions without considering long-term implication and effect of the staff. - Going into Call Center approach which promotes subpar support and will ultimately drive attrition in the long run.

Pros

Through training (in the beginning) and supportive peers.

Cons

Although I was so excited for the PLS opportunity, that excitement quickly faded when, mid-summer (after the formal kick-off event/training in Houston in mid May), I had zero opportunities scheduled, even though I made myself available all but 4 days the entire summer! I finally received a session three days before my return to my full-time teaching job at the end of August. I took the job, but have no idea why, since the one payday was not worth it, especially after putting my summer plans on hold for no reason. I also learned that new hires who were not seasonal PLS were given priority with scheduling, as other seasonal PLS in my region also reported little to no work.
