Pros

The growth mindset and output-driven approach helps with the productivity of the employees.

Cons

My former manager, whom the company hired and supported very well, had a knack for rejecting PTOs / leave applications from her downlines. This manager also caused the development of my and my colleague’s mental health problems, which the company disregarded despite the documentation from their partner agency that provides mental health and self-care consultation, and resulted to obvious downward trajectory of our work performance. On the day of my visit to claim my final pay and some personal documents, I was barred from entering the premises by the security on duty. I waited for a long time outside the building until a former colleague saw me and volunteered to accompany me to the lobby of the head office floor. As I arrived there, it was the security guard that processed and asked me to sign my final pay and quit claim, who also failed to hand over my documents such as my BIR 2316 and others. If the HR team can show this kind of unprofessionalism and disregard to former employees that got affected by their mismanagement, I don’t think it’s right for them to claim that they are a company that values health and wellbeing. Certainly not a healthy company to work with if you want to keep your sanity intact.
