Slave Labor - Retail Sales Merchandiser Anderson Merchandisers Employee Review

Pros

A little bit spending money.

Cons

Outrageously unreasonable workload, very low pay vs. responsibilities. Anderson's people are now the company reps for Glidden Paints, Post Cereal, Vilore Foods, and a number of lesser companies. All of this, and the accompanied responsibilities, and I left after 4 years at $9.69/hour. No holiday pay for working on Thanksgiving, which is mandatory. Walmart managers are abusive to merchandisers, but Anderson always sides with the Walmart manager, no matter how outrageous the abuses are. Only take a position with this company if you are a true believer in the "new economy", because they will use you up and abuse you until you quit.

I'll update my post if I have to. Everyone is sweet and enjoyable to talk to.

Pros

Absolutely nonexistent. The district managers saw my last review and cut my hours from full time to 15 hours or less per week.

Cons

District Manager manipulates the instore activity reports to make her team look fabulous. This means the work did not get completed correctly and the next employee to service the store will be buried in extra work because DM is a cheater.
