Pros

The pay is very good for this position.

Cons

I loved this job when I first began 5 years ago because we were given adequate time for each project. However, the company has changed and is taking any and every client they can get, not realizing or not caring that there is not enough time in the week to service all these clients in a satisfactory way. In the beginning, I was able to take pride in my work, but now that there is so much to do that everything is slapdash and I go home at night feeling like I've accomplished little. This is not how I want to feel at the end of the day. Also, the way the stores are distributed into territories makes no sense. One territory may have 5 stores and another may only have one store. I'm sure this works out fine for the Territory Sales Lead who is only in charge of one or maybe two stores, but for those with 3, 4, or 5 stores it's a ridiculous amount of work to expect to have accomplished in a 40-hour week. And training is almost nonexistent. And as someone else pointed out, we are expected to effect change on the part of the store managers' compliance with their own corporate policy. I've had store managers get angry with me for harping on the same old thing about their non-compliance. You do need to have a thick skin to handle this job, and not get your feelings hurt easily. In my district, the schedules are very rigid and must be followed exactly as they are written by the district manager. Not to mention, they often change from one day to the next, so you have to check your schedule every morning to make sure you show up at the right store for that day.

Pros

Absolutely nonexistent. The district managers saw my last review and cut my hours from full time to 15 hours or less per week.

Cons

District Manager manipulates the instore activity reports to make her team look fabulous. This means the work did not get completed correctly and the next employee to service the store will be buried in extra work because DM is a cheater.
