Pros
- Everyone is super mission driven which feeds into a fantastic culture. Andurillians are highly motivated and are collaborative with their peers not competitive. Also, there's fun team/office bonding events that feed into a positive culture. - Besides recruiting talented people...Anduril recruits nice people that are refreshing to work with! Culture fit is a bigger priority to interviewers vs. someone that can do the work. - Great support from managers that really care about your career path (whether at Anduril or elsewhere). - Great leaders. No one is too high up to not make the time. - Employees' well-being is a priority at Anduril (ex. Benefits frequently get improved/reflect our great work life balance). - Tons of ownership & mentorship. - Anduril's stock is very valuable with a high probability it will make employees' rich when Anduril goes public in the near future. - Everyone's political opinion is respected. Anduril fosters a great environment for those to speak freely without discomfort. - Anduril's offices are in the process of being upgraded to support our growing numbers. Our brand new HQ opened Dec '21. Also, all offices are dog friendly! - Flexible work schedule/hours.
Cons
- As expected, with any company that is scaling quickly, the priorities shift constantly based on new business needs (business is constantly booming with new contracts/acquisitions) which can be disorderly at times but also guarantees the work is never stale/gives confidence that there's no chance Anduril will go under! - Could be a con to some who have enjoyed being remote in the pandemic....Leadership has made it clear that the business works better in person and promotes an in-office work landscape post pandemic. Right now it's up to your specific team if you need to go into the office or not to be successful in the pandemic. We are an essential business and Anduril closely follows CDC guidelines to make sure everyone stays healthy. That being said, remote work is on a case by case basis. However, there's a ton of benefits that come with going into the office! Other than the obvious ones: hands on team collaboration/making new friends with recent hires/feeling more connected culturally etc. There are financial perks such as breakfast, lunch, & dinner in all offices, transportation benefit to all offices and back home, and a gym membership if you are in the HQ. - Like the majority of companies, Anduril could improve on diversity. Looks like we are working on it since hiring a Diversity Equity & Inclusion Recruiter last year.
