Pros

I will be fair and say that you can make some good money if you are ok with lying to hardworking small business owners, working hard and have some skill. My coworkers were nice and there are a good amount of managers that do care about you as a person.

Cons

This company is disorganized, fraudulent and dishonest from the top down. The culture at home advisor is grind, lie, talk to your co-workers about how you have to lie to yourself about the product you are selling so that you don't go home every day feeling guilty about deceiving your customers. Regular drug use by sales people even on zoom calls. Empty promises and threats unless you don't sell you are gone (it's a sales job so that is normal). Before covid people would be caught having sex in the basement of the office and HR would have to have regular meetings with people about rampant sexual herrasment. They target people straight out of college because they don't know any better and single moms who they know if they survive it will be hard for them to leave. I say these things because they are true patterns that everyone talks about if you work there for more than 6 months. The product is flawed to the point of a class action lawsuits but their excuse is "no product is perfect". So if you are ok with living through this every day, this might be the place for you. If you would rather not waste your time I would recommend looking somewhere else. If you don't believe me check out their BBB page.

Pros

It’s work from home. Two 15 minute breaks and an hour lunch.

Cons

They are a very dishonest company. The hype up the job but in reality what you’ll be doing is spending all day calling random numbers in which about 95% of those people either won’t answer the phone or if they do, you will be hung up on within like two seconds. Not to mention the Angie reputation is so bad. It’s actually notoriously bad that even if you are able to get someone on the phone for more than a couple of minutes they’ll still end up hanging up just because of how bad Angie is. In my opinion Angie is a dishonest company selling a dishonest service because most of the leads they sell are fake and most of the leads they give their employees to call are also fake and if you don’t make these outrageous sales numbers you’re fired it’s a reason why the employee benefits don’t kick in until three months in because they know 95% of the people they hire won’t still be working there in three months because they will not hit the sales quotas. The only good thing about this job is its work from home really. And the hot leads they say they have 95% are fake or just someone who looked at a spam email. It’s actually comical how deceptive this company is.
