It’s a good job for first time college students, people that have no sales experience and want to get into sales. It’s not Strategic sales it’s focused on One Call closes, selling style is comparable to Car Salesmen, door to door sales people, and kiosks sales people. Your goal is to close your client first time connecting, no follow ups, no neutering the prospect , close them or hang up and go to the next.
Cons
The base pay isn’t good if you have been in sales for a while and have started building foundation. If you’re a recent college grad, living with your family, you should consider this job and save up as much as you can. To slowly move onto other business ventures. Unless you have tons in your savings it takes a good 4-6 months to really build your skills to closing 6-8 contractors in a week.
