Pros

Decent base salary for tenured PMs (not so much for the new hires) Great co-workers and teammates No day is the same Flexible on hours/start time. If you want to work a different time zone's hours, this is typically doable.

Cons

Frustrated customers and contractors There is no work-life balance. If you want to keep on top of things, expect to spend weekend time checking emails and your phone Contractors will finish a job and spend weeks trying to get paid because of unnecessary audits that are redundant Upper management does not care to hear suggestions on ways to improve processes Improvement plans are a constant threat weighing on top of your head, and when you are on one and graduate out of it, they will turn back on their word Cut-throat gossip is commonplace and I know things about other team members that I have no business being in the know of. Homeowners can be paired with bad contractors and there is no standard in escalations as to how to handle issues, and 9 times out of 10 the project manager/advisor is stuck having to assist when there should be upper management involved. Managers have been hired with little to no industry experience Upper management goes over direct manager's heads with decision making

We appreciate your feedback and your time working with Managed Projects. We're glad you enjoyed working alongside great teammates during your time here. Angi's main priority is to ensure both our customers & contractors receive a seamless experience and feel immediate value from our service offerings. We receive & apply the feedback from all parties to implement stronger policies around managing escalations and payouts so we can catch issues sooner, or avoid them all together. We believe our Project Managers are on the front line to identify these areas for improvement and help management iterate as needed. We have daily meetings between team leads and senior management to ensure our strategic planning considers the experience and feedback of our Project Managers. We are a large and growing organization, it takes time for systems and processes to change but our focus is always on giving our Project Management team the tools they need to support our contractors and homeowners. - Zisan Tekin, VP Managed Projects

Pros

After almost five years with Angi, I can honestly say I'm grateful every day that I get to put on my Angi jersey and be part of this incredible company. Recruiting isn't just my job—it's something I'm truly passionate about, and I love helping talented people find opportunities where they can grow and succeed. What makes Angi special isn't just the work we do; it's the people. I've been fortunate to work under outstanding leadership and have the best manager I could ask for. Their support, encouragement, and investment in my growth have played a huge role in my career, and I'm thankful for it every day. One of my favorite traditions is that every work anniversary, I receive a handwritten note from our leadership along with a small gift. It's a simple gesture, but it speaks volumes about the culture here. Those personal touches make employees feel valued, appreciated, and recognized—not just for what they do, but for who they are. Angi has given me opportunities to grow professionally while surrounding me with leaders who genuinely care about their people. I'm proud to be part of this team and excited about the future we're building together. If you're looking for a place where you can make an impact, continue growing, and be supported by exceptional leadership, I can't recommend Angi enough.

Cons

Pros

It’s work from home. Two 15 minute breaks and an hour lunch.

Cons

They are a very dishonest company. The hype up the job but in reality what you’ll be doing is spending all day calling random numbers in which about 95% of those people either won’t answer the phone or if they do, you will be hung up on within like two seconds. Not to mention the Angie reputation is so bad. It’s actually notoriously bad that even if you are able to get someone on the phone for more than a couple of minutes they’ll still end up hanging up just because of how bad Angie is. In my opinion Angie is a dishonest company selling a dishonest service because most of the leads they sell are fake and most of the leads they give their employees to call are also fake and if you don’t make these outrageous sales numbers you’re fired it’s a reason why the employee benefits don’t kick in until three months in because they know 95% of the people they hire won’t still be working there in three months because they will not hit the sales quotas. The only good thing about this job is its work from home really. And the hot leads they say they have 95% are fake or just someone who looked at a spam email. It’s actually comical how deceptive this company is.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us and taking the time to leave a review. We appreciate your feedback regarding our work-from-home flexibility, but we are concerned to hear your perspective on our lead quality, training expectations, and onboarding process. High-volume sales can be challenging, and we want our team members to feel equipped to succeed. We take your feedback regarding lead viability and quota structure seriously, as our goal is to provide transparent and viable opportunities for our sales team. We also continuously review our training support to ensure we are setting new hires up for long-term success. Thank you again for your candid input. If you are open to discussing your day-to-day challenges further so we can better support you, please reach out to your manager or HRBP.
