Pros

Great people. Non leadership team members are some of the hardest working people I have met

Cons

No guidance. Leadership has no idea what is going on. High turnover. I worked here for 16 months and received no review, outline of scope of support, or even role description after the merge. Unwilling to give retention bonuses when staff was dropping like flies and burnout was high. No idea how to develop office culture in a distributed work place or allocate resources.

Thank you for your feedback. We take employee feedback very seriously at Angi and have implemented many programs to encourage a consistent manager feedback loop. We encourage managers to hold weekly 1:1 conversations with their employees and everyone is required to have quarterly performance reviews to ensure employees have context into role expectations, individual performance & company goals. We have rolled out OKRs to help align goals and results org wide and we hold annual compensation reviews to ensure our employees are paid competitively to the market. We are disappointed to see your thoughts on our leadership team as we strive to create an inclusive, transparent workplace where decisions are communicated with respect in mind. -Laura Kato, SVP People

Pros

It’s work from home. Two 15 minute breaks and an hour lunch.

Cons

They are a very dishonest company. The hype up the job but in reality what you’ll be doing is spending all day calling random numbers in which about 95% of those people either won’t answer the phone or if they do, you will be hung up on within like two seconds. Not to mention the Angie reputation is so bad. It’s actually notoriously bad that even if you are able to get someone on the phone for more than a couple of minutes they’ll still end up hanging up just because of how bad Angie is. In my opinion Angie is a dishonest company selling a dishonest service because most of the leads they sell are fake and most of the leads they give their employees to call are also fake and if you don’t make these outrageous sales numbers you’re fired it’s a reason why the employee benefits don’t kick in until three months in because they know 95% of the people they hire won’t still be working there in three months because they will not hit the sales quotas. The only good thing about this job is its work from home really. And the hot leads they say they have 95% are fake or just someone who looked at a spam email. It’s actually comical how deceptive this company is.
