Pros

Really bad techno at least twice a day. You get twice (at least) daily hype sessions with mandatory fun. You might win a t-shirt. You can use an avatar in the mandatory all-day Zooms. That way no one can see how disappointed you are. So there's that.

Cons

There's not much to like here, and you might be participating in fraud. It's not a salaried position; you are an hourly employee and they take FULL advantage of that. About 5%-8% of all reps make any real money, everyone else is in and out the revolving door. You will be told that is your fault. The 'leads' are absolute trash but don't mention that to management or you'll be met with a chorus of BS about grinding, effort, and excuses. Then you will be forced to watch a motivational video from an internet celebrity in lieu of actual managing. They feed high-value leads to a small group of reps, lie about that, and then parade that success in front of everyone. It's all about making money for Angi. The commission structure is perfect...for Angi. You have to sell an absurd amount to see a dime. Even more to make a respectable commission. I've never worked somewhere that cared less about character or ethics. You'll learn how to manipulate vulnerable people into spending the last of their money, and con businesses with bogus statistics and maps. The leads side is the subject of an FTC complaint and a class-action lawsuit. The ad side is fraudulent as well, and can't be far behind.

Pros

After almost five years with Angi, I can honestly say I'm grateful every day that I get to put on my Angi jersey and be part of this incredible company. Recruiting isn't just my job—it's something I'm truly passionate about, and I love helping talented people find opportunities where they can grow and succeed. What makes Angi special isn't just the work we do; it's the people. I've been fortunate to work under outstanding leadership and have the best manager I could ask for. Their support, encouragement, and investment in my growth have played a huge role in my career, and I'm thankful for it every day. One of my favorite traditions is that every work anniversary, I receive a handwritten note from our leadership along with a small gift. It's a simple gesture, but it speaks volumes about the culture here. Those personal touches make employees feel valued, appreciated, and recognized—not just for what they do, but for who they are. Angi has given me opportunities to grow professionally while surrounding me with leaders who genuinely care about their people. I'm proud to be part of this team and excited about the future we're building together. If you're looking for a place where you can make an impact, continue growing, and be supported by exceptional leadership, I can't recommend Angi enough.

Pros

It’s work from home. Two 15 minute breaks and an hour lunch.

Cons

They are a very dishonest company. The hype up the job but in reality what you’ll be doing is spending all day calling random numbers in which about 95% of those people either won’t answer the phone or if they do, you will be hung up on within like two seconds. Not to mention the Angie reputation is so bad. It’s actually notoriously bad that even if you are able to get someone on the phone for more than a couple of minutes they’ll still end up hanging up just because of how bad Angie is. In my opinion Angie is a dishonest company selling a dishonest service because most of the leads they sell are fake and most of the leads they give their employees to call are also fake and if you don’t make these outrageous sales numbers you’re fired it’s a reason why the employee benefits don’t kick in until three months in because they know 95% of the people they hire won’t still be working there in three months because they will not hit the sales quotas. The only good thing about this job is its work from home really. And the hot leads they say they have 95% are fake or just someone who looked at a spam email. It’s actually comical how deceptive this company is.
