Pros

1. Location -- trendy area, variety of amenities, convenient to highways and other transportation options (bus and light rail) 2. Benefits -- employer paid medical option, free parking, free electric car charging, unlimited PTO, onsite gym, catered lunches 3. Office -- was very unique and felt comfortable/homey

Cons

1. Unrealistic metrics -- 6 offers a week + 20 phone screens, no recruiting strategy, no focus on retention, quantity over quality (but they claim otherwise), phone screen everyone that applies and are told to move them forward even if they are not a fit, but are "buffer" candidates, will want to put you on a PIP if you pushback and claim you're underperforming even though the rest of the team is in the same boat, overall not focused on the bottom line 2. Inexperienced management -- micromanagers, not open to change or new ideas, terrible at giving feedback/criticism, threatening flexibility, not giving credit where credit is due, treating everyone fairly (especially when it comes to hybrid work requirements) 3. Lack of onboarding -- didn't meet entire team (40 people) and I was a there for six months, was sent wrong laptop and had IT issues for three weeks as a result, I had to reach out and ask what time and who I was meeting with on my first day (was not set up in time and had to work remotely) 4. Loud office environment -- plays dance/party music on highest volume, unable to talk to co-workers right next to you or make candidate calls, claim they want collaboration - but you have to go work on another floor to get work done 5. Low pay -- pay recruiters going into an office more than others working remotely, Associate Recruiters are paid terribly less than Recruiters and Senior Recruiters even though the job entails basically the same thing To be honest, my time at Angi wasn't great. I would have been gone a long time ago if it weren't for two amazing co-workers I worked with in the office or if the job market was more stable. It got to the point where I couldn't take it anymore. But, I'd highly consider looking elsewhere especially if you're looking to join the sales side of the business - I can't speak for the corporate side.

Pros

After almost five years with Angi, I can honestly say I'm grateful every day that I get to put on my Angi jersey and be part of this incredible company. Recruiting isn't just my job—it's something I'm truly passionate about, and I love helping talented people find opportunities where they can grow and succeed. What makes Angi special isn't just the work we do; it's the people. I've been fortunate to work under outstanding leadership and have the best manager I could ask for. Their support, encouragement, and investment in my growth have played a huge role in my career, and I'm thankful for it every day. One of my favorite traditions is that every work anniversary, I receive a handwritten note from our leadership along with a small gift. It's a simple gesture, but it speaks volumes about the culture here. Those personal touches make employees feel valued, appreciated, and recognized—not just for what they do, but for who they are. Angi has given me opportunities to grow professionally while surrounding me with leaders who genuinely care about their people. I'm proud to be part of this team and excited about the future we're building together. If you're looking for a place where you can make an impact, continue growing, and be supported by exceptional leadership, I can't recommend Angi enough.

Cons

Pros

It’s work from home. Two 15 minute breaks and an hour lunch.

Cons

They are a very dishonest company. The hype up the job but in reality what you’ll be doing is spending all day calling random numbers in which about 95% of those people either won’t answer the phone or if they do, you will be hung up on within like two seconds. Not to mention the Angie reputation is so bad. It’s actually notoriously bad that even if you are able to get someone on the phone for more than a couple of minutes they’ll still end up hanging up just because of how bad Angie is. In my opinion Angie is a dishonest company selling a dishonest service because most of the leads they sell are fake and most of the leads they give their employees to call are also fake and if you don’t make these outrageous sales numbers you’re fired it’s a reason why the employee benefits don’t kick in until three months in because they know 95% of the people they hire won’t still be working there in three months because they will not hit the sales quotas. The only good thing about this job is its work from home really. And the hot leads they say they have 95% are fake or just someone who looked at a spam email. It’s actually comical how deceptive this company is.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us and taking the time to leave a review. We appreciate your feedback regarding our work-from-home flexibility, but we are concerned to hear your perspective on our lead quality, training expectations, and onboarding process. High-volume sales can be challenging, and we want our team members to feel equipped to succeed. We take your feedback regarding lead viability and quota structure seriously, as our goal is to provide transparent and viable opportunities for our sales team. We also continuously review our training support to ensure we are setting new hires up for long-term success. Thank you again for your candid input. If you are open to discussing your day-to-day challenges further so we can better support you, please reach out to your manager or HRBP.
