Pros

None at the moment but they have potential if they would go back to the way it used to be. I used to LOVE my job at ANGI about a year ago. I was happy, thriving, making great money, and ,most importantly, I was excited on Monday mornings because I was ready to go. My manager is the best which is the only reason I stay even after everything that they’ve done.

Cons

You are a number. Upper management could care less if you can no longer make your mortgage payments because they decided to decrease your commission plan drastically, start recycling leads as “new”, continue to hire even though there’s not enough to go around in the first place. Then they decide that they want us to sell a completely different product on a completely new system while promising to increase our commission structure back to the way it was. We were all excited until about 1 month in they decided to change our commission structure again and this time they really just spit in our face. Not only does our commission suck now but this new product is difficult, very difficult to sell and the leads are soooo bad that I’m speechless. So, I went from making a 6 figure income, loving my job, and content in life TO…now I am on anxiety meds bc my nerves are so bad. What’s even worse is that I don’t even have the money to take care of myself by doing the things I love. No more HOTYOGA, or massages, or acupuncture or pedicures or anything that brings me pleasure. Thankfully I have my family that is helping to support me so I don’t lose everything I’ve worked so hard for. My dog needed surgery and all of my credit cards are maxed out so I had to borrow more money. I am just a number… a no one.

Pros

The culture is generally positive, and leadership is accessible. Management is willing to meet with employees and listen to concerns. There are talented people throughout the organization, and the work can be rewarding if you enjoy sales and helping businesses grow.

Cons

The biggest challenge is the compensation structure. The company promotes uncapped commissions, but many employees feel earnings are effectively controlled through continually increasing quotas and changing performance targets. Revenue and nominal goals are adjusted so frequently that it can feel like the finish line is always moving. What's particularly frustrating is that the majority of the sales team often struggles to reach 100% of quota, yet goals continue to rise. This creates the perception that compensation expense is being managed through quota increases rather than by allowing top performers to fully benefit from the revenue they generate. Over time, this can discourage high achievers. Employees who consistently perform well are often expected to deliver significantly more results each year just to maintain the same level of compensation. When exceptional performance is met with ever-increasing targets instead of proportionally increasing rewards, motivation suffers.
