* 60 hour weeks (80 hours if you work the weekend too)
* Working 24 out of 28 days a month
* Working off shifts (graveyard and swing) and frequent switching between shifts because of Covid call outs
* Physically exhausting - you walk 6 miles a day in heavy work steel toe boots
* Tough working conditions - hot factory floor, loud noise environment, dangerous manufacturing equipment, hazardous chemical exposure
* Toxic work culture - managers are supposed to be on “your side” but 3/4 of the salaried have cried because of the way management treats them
* Stressful work environment the main part of the job is trying to fix broken packaging equipment. The equipment is always breaking down and is very complex so when it does it could be a long number of things and it is your job to figure it out. After ten minutes of equipment downtime you have to have a reason why it broke. You are responsible for roughly 60 equipment centers so it gets to be very taxing
* No breaks or lunch you are just supposed to eat when you find time
* Company is notoriously cheap across which leads to under-staffing. Most people are doing two people’s jobs and this leads to issues down the road that you are going to have to deal with
