Pros
My job has awesome benefits and I work with very understanding staff. Even in responding to emergencies people at the Agency know how to manage work/life balance. The Agency does important work for keeping American agriculture safe.
Cons
A lot of employees telework, so sometimes the office can seem empty. As with any federal environment, there are a high number of tenured employees who seem unmotivated and/or tired. But the Agency supports leadership at all levels and offers a myriad of opportunities for coaching, leadership development, and promotion potential that anyone could take advantage of.
