Pros
Health insurance covered by company. If you value yourself, you can negotiate a decent salary.
Cons
Micromanagement to the extreme. No ideas, thoughts or wisdom you may have will ever be brought to light because they will go no further than lower management. If work is slow, you will be shredding paper, doing inventory, counting screws, nuts and bolts (because there is no scale)......when you work for the assembly team and you have nothing to do, you can expect to do anything that has NOTHING to do with why you were hired. You can't wear perfume, listen to music (and believe me, this is something that you will want to do), go to lunch with your co-workers (although the engineers do, they like the assembly team to stagger so that someone will always be on hand)....and if it snows....make sure you own a 4 wheel drive vehicle as snow days are frowned upon...and so is LEAVE WITHOUT PAY.....if you don't have vacation or sick time accumulated, leave without pay is not something they take kindly to. I could go on and on, but you get the picture. Unless you are the most desperate for a job, RUN don't walk to the nearest exit. If you have ANY experience at all in Space flight, DOD, MIL-SPEC standards, you will have worked for companies that respect your talent.....this is NOT the company for you. If it weren't for a few of my co-workers. my life there would have been worse than it was. If you are used to working independently, this is not the company for you.
