Pros
They offer competing Pay and bonus structure
Cons
There’s a significant gap between how leadership presents the firm’s values and how partners actually operate day-to-day, specifically the CIO and the CEO. I’ve seen instances where credit for associates’ work was claimed by partners in client-facing settings without acknowledgment. Rules and expectations aren’t applied consistently some people are held to a different standard than others depending on relationships with senior partners, which creates a culture where favoritism matters more than merit. When concerns have been raised about any of this, the response has generally been defensive rather than corrective, which discourages people from speaking up. The cumulative effect is a culture that talks about integrity publicly but doesn’t consistently practice it internally.
