Pros

Met some of the most amazing people

Cons

Very low pay, I went to college and graduated with a very difficult major, only to get paid $11 an hour for the entire time I spent there. Some people in the lab slave away, while others kick back and not work nearly as hard. You never get to go home on time, you go home when the job is done (as someone previously mentioned) and this sometimes means that you will have overtime (and getting overtime was very frowned upon and you would get in trouble for it, too) and sometimes it means leaving early. The work is NOT divided evenly which means you have to carry other people’s work since they are messing around and not doing what they need to do. Favoritism is given to only a few certain people, which was totally unfair. Too harsh and too mean of an environment. Bullies think they can walk all over you, and their insecurities show because of it. Lab people are treated like crap while other departments are treated MUCH MUCH better. You can’t even go to the bathroom when you feel like it, you have to strategically plan to go to the bathroom only during your breaks. NONSENSE, complete NONSENSE. Antech is terrible.

Good work environment with opportunity for growth if you pursue it.

Pay is low, but expected in an entry level role, and benefits are good which make up for it.
