      Pros

      Providing veterinary diagnostic services was very rewarding. Learned to troubleshoot & work independently as I was the only tech there.

      Cons

      Because I was the only employee in lab, a work-life balance was hard to establish as I would have to plan well ahead of time when I wanted to take time off.
