Pros

- Great co-workers, people are generally helpful and friendly. - Opportunity to interact with many different parts of the business. - Ability to have direct contact with leadership and have your opinion heard.

Cons

- Low pay, bonus was not correlated to recent company performance (especially considering the constant emphasis on cash flow). - Little opportunity for growth outside of Chicago office. - Technology is laughable, hard to believe a company this large can function using it. Results in longer hours and data entry type work. - While upper management seems to be very competent , middle management leaves a lot to be desired. Seems that a lot of positions are taken purely by long tenure rather than ability or intelligence.

Pros

Great role to transition into the insurance industry. Many resources and opportunities to expand technical knowledge. Client visits are great if you like to travel. Lucky to have a manager who doesn’t micromanage. If you’re organized, driven, and good at communicating you’ll do great.

Cons

Can be stressful at times around busy renewal cycles. Travel often depending on industry and clients.
