Human resources are expendable. Despite being a core value to take care of our most valuable asset, "our people", Apache really does a terrible job of helping people grow in their professional careers. Very little development or cross training for mid career engineers. The Petroleum Engineering rotational development plan is the one developmental bright spot in the company. The ADP, drilling engineering program, is an unorganized joke. Disfunction abounds in multiple layers of the organization. With the recent add on of a technical region in San Antonio the likelihood of straightening out this mess any time soon is not probable.
